Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a systematic preventative approach to food safety that addresses physical, chemical and biological hazards as a means of prevention.
HAACP is used to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCP’s) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of hazards being realized.
MSC CERTIFIED
OSF is committed to the sustainability of our natural resources. OSF took a leadership position and was the first West Coast Canadian salmon processor to attain MSC accreditation.
The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an independent, global, non-profit organization whose role it is to recognize, via a certification program, well-managed fisheries and to harness consumer preference for seafood products bearing the MSC label of approval.
